About the Artist

Laur Rose was born in Brooklyn New York. As a student, she studied at the Brooklyn Museum Art School, The Art Students League, Boston University School of Fine Art, L’Academie Grande Chaumiere, Paris, and she received a BFA from The University of Arizona in 1971. She has been a painter in watercolor, oil, acrylic and mixed media. Her work is in collections in Paris, New York, Mexico, New Mexico, Utah, California, Canada and Arizona. Laur shows her work at 55Main Gallery in Bisbee, The Cactus Wren Gallery in Tubac, World Arts in Patagonia and The Pottery Studio in Sierra Vista.
